Hardball for 18+. New players welcome

Opening Day is just around the corner ⚾️

Every season, we kick things off by bringing back the two finalists from last year’s championship game for an Opening Day showdown.

A new season begins with unfinished business, fresh energy, and one big question… who starts the year on top?

This one should be a battle. Curious to see how it turns out.

Meet Jose Mejia, manager of the Titans.
The Titans are the team that came out of nowhere this season. Going into the year, the league was expected to have seven teams, but with the growth in player interest, we needed someone willing to step up and take on the responsibility of leading an expansion team. Jose answered that call.

Jose brings an incredible attitude and presence to the league. Having grown up playing baseball in both Mexico and California, he brings a deep love for the game along with the sharp baseball IQ you’d expect from a catcher. He understands the game at a high level and is always willing to help others develop and improve.

The Titans bring an exciting mix of young talent to the field this season, and it will be fun to see how they come together and compete. We fully expect them to show up ready to battle and make some noise this year.

Meet Marshall Rochefort, the new manager of the Panthers.

The Panthers are a squad built primarily of Air Force guys who simply love the game of baseball.
Competitive, disciplined, and tight-knit, they bring that same brotherhood to the field every week.

This spring, Marshall stepped up and took the reins. No hesitation. He put in the work, rallied the guys, and made sure the Panthers are ready for another run. You’ll see him holding it down in left field and taking the ball on the mound when his team needs him.

The foundation of this team was built by Mathew Poulton, the founder of the Panthers. Now heading into their 4th season in the league, Mathew continues to be the ultimate utility guy. Catcher. Pitcher. Shortstop. Wherever the team needs him, that’s where he’ll be.

Leadership transition. Strong foundation. Air Force toughness.

Meet Jason Moss, manager of the Black Sox.

The Black Sox have been a staple of the league for over a decade, consistently posting winning records year after year and entering this season as one of the top championship contenders. Jason’s leadership is a big reason why. Around the league, he’s known for his chill, easy-to-like demeanor, and when it’s time to compete, he brings real fire to the field.

He’s also famous for having a rubber arm. Because of his ability to pitch a ridiculous number of innings like it’s nothing. Rumor has it, Jason might even hold the all-time pitch count record.

Meet Nino Mendoza and Logan Neerings.
Nino is the manager of the Jolly Rogers and plays both Catcher and Pitcher. The Jolly Rogers are entering their 5th season as a team and have established themselves as one of the top programs in the league with two championships and one of the best records year after year.

That foundation was built early by Logan Neerings, who started the Jolly Rogers and helped set the culture and direction of the team. Nino stepped into the manager role when Logan began pursuing his pilot’s license, continuing the standard that had already been established.

Together, their leadership has been a major reason for the team’s sustained success. Nino’s commitment shows up in how he prepares, how he competes, and how he leads on and off the field, honoring the culture that helped build the Jolly Rogers into what they are today.

Meet Adam Campbell, manager of the Dodgers.
Adam has been part of the league for over five years and is now entering his fourth year managing the Dodgers. Known around the league as the big guy with wheels, Adam brings a rare mix of size, athleticism, and leadership to the field.

Last season, Adam put together an impressive year at the plate, batting .375, while continuing to lead from the dugout. This year marks a new chapter for the Dodgers, as the team has gone through a full rebuild—bringing in over 10 new players through recruiting and setting the foundation for the future.

With experience, competitiveness, and a fresh roster, Adam is focused on developing his squad and pushing the Dodgers forward as the season unfolds.

Jordon Cissna is widely regarded as one of the most competitive individuals in the entire league—and his reputation backs it up. The Spartans have consistently been a top-three team year after year, and as the manager of the Spartans, Jordon has been a driving force behind that standard.

With over 15 years in the league, Jordon has worn just about every hat imaginable: player, manager, and Vice President of the league. During that time, he’s helped attract and retain countless players, playing a key role in the league’s growth while continuing to compete at a high level himself.

On the field, Jordon does his damage at third base and on the mound, bringing intensity, leadership, and an edge that sets the tone every time he plays.

Meet Jeremy Bailey, Manager of the Cyclones.

Jeremy led the Cyclones to a league championship last season, continuing the legacy of one of the most successful teams in WFMBL history.

The Cyclones are the longest-tenured franchise in the league and have captured over four championships in the past decade, setting the standard for consistency and excellence.

Known for his relentless competitiveness, Jeremy brings intensity and discipline both as a manager and as a player. He anchors the infield at first base and second base, combining leadership with on-field production.

Beyond the league, Jeremy is also a respected coach, contributing to the development of the game by helping coach high school baseball, where his passion and knowledge continue to shape the next generation of players.

Ultra-competitive. Proven winner. Built to lead.

Meet Mark Anthony Johnson, President of the Wasatch Front Men’s Baseball League.

Mark joined the WFMBL in 2015, starting his playing career with the Hitmen. His leadership naturally grew over time, and in 2020, he stepped into the role of head coach, leading the Hitmen for several seasons.

After roster changes eventually forced the Hitmen to fold, Mark made the move to the Cyclones in 2023—the same year he also took on the role of league president. Now entering his fourth year as president, Mark continues to focus on keeping the league competitive, organized, and fun for everyone involved.

From player, to coach, to president, Mark’s path through the WFMBL reflects a genuine love for the game and the community around it. He’s proof that while we all take baseball seriously, we also know it’s about showing up, competing hard, and enjoying the game with a great group of guys.
