Spectacular sunny day for the 2nd Annual River Shiver Polar Bear 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Lisbon and Ogdensburg Lion's Clubs. We had 86 participants from St. Lawrence and Jefferson Counties, Ottawa, Montreal, and all the way from the Dominican Republic! We even had a marriage proposal from a young man from Ft. Drum to his girlfriend and she said "YES"! Thanks to all who participated, volunteered, and sponsored the event!

It's finally almost here! Tomorrow, Saturday, 02/18/12, is the River Shiver Polar Bear 5k Run/Walk sponsored by the Lisbon and Ogdensburg Lion's Clubs. Registration is at the Ogdensburg Dobisky Center at 9:00am and the race will start at 10:00am. All proceeds will benefit the Lion's Club local community project. What a great way to enjoy the warmer weather, exercise, make some new friends, and donate to local projects! Hope to see you there!
