Our Balboa Park museum facade project just scored Best of Show from "Art Tile America 2021" brought to us by The Tile Heritage Foundation and the generosity of NS Ceramics. Thank you, all!! We are very honored to be in the company of so many amazing tile artists!

Hmmm, an embarrassing episode turns out A-OK! (still embarrassing) Scroll back 15 years. Client EAGERLY seeking this mural, 25 roses, 25th wedding anniversary. In flowing production mode, we had it screened up, ready to finish but kiboshed by next crazy fast DO IT NOW project. Times were nuts. Not fun. Flash forward to 40th wedding anniv. March, 2021

AKA yAAAAA!!!!

Been working on 4 of these 6x8' murals since June even started wearing the same colors, blending right into the task. This mural is a joy! Filled with playfully animated characters from the martini olives, to the stealth covert operatives to the "Guys! wait for me" seahorse. Tumbling swirls and bubbles anchor the background and tie it all together. Tish over fired on the last one brought pleasant surprises, allowing the glazes to really show their stuff.

Kids Table 1993. I so love the purity of kids drawings. So innate, unbounded and immensely expressive. Big kudos to my children, you hold my heart strings.
