Made a quick trip down to Oklahoma City for a bbq course put on by the awesome Smoked & Furious BBQ Team. Thanks Curt for putting on a great course. Hope it improves our game this year and who knows, maybe a can will be in our future?!

Our Christmas brisket cook was a huge success! Even in the chilly temps, we kept the smoke rolling and the brisket flowing. We’re honored to be part of so many families’ holiday meals—thank you for trusting us with your Christmas BBQ! 🎄❤️

Finally made it home from our last and biggest competition of the year. The American Royal World Series of Barbecue in Kansas City. We flew down and borrowed an awesome bbq trailer from Darren Warth and we are super grateful for that opportunity! It was a 2 day 14 hand in competition and we handed in all 14!

First day was the invitational and sides competition where we finished in First place in Baked Beans with a perfect score (180) and took 3rd place overall in the sides competition. We can now say we are the current World Champions in baked beans! 💨

Second day was the open where we finished 150th out of 401 teams.

Congrats to the rest of the Canadian teams that had their names called!

Looking forward to bigger and better next year!

We flew down to the American Royal in Kansas City and are returning as WORLD CHAMPIONS, but not in the category you’d think! Over 2 days we competed in 14 events using smokers we borrowed for the weekend. There were 405 teams from around the world competing!

There was a side dish competition where we handed in a vegetable dish, potato dish and baked beans.

We took FIRST PLACE🥇 in baked beans and 3rd overall in the sides!

And congrats to You Need A BBQ for taking First Place in the potato category! 2 new Candian world champions tonight!

Made it down to the American Royal World Series of BBQ to compete at the Invitational (today) and the Open (tomorrow) Competitions! It’s going to be a busy 2 days as we have 2 seperate competitions and 14 hand ins to do. Super big thanks to Darren Warth for allowing us to borrow one of his competition trailers this weekend as we flew down south. Our fire is lit and good luck to the rest of the Canadian teams here and to the other 400+ teams competing this weekend!!

Made a quick pit stop in Des Moines Iowa today on our way to the American Royal World Series of BBQ in Kansas City!

We competed at the Beantown Barbeque Cook-Off this weekend! It was cold and windy with some snow in Bow Island!

Made it to southern Alberta to cook at the first annual Beantown Barbeque Cook-Off in Bow island Alberta! Today we competed in the Anything Thanksgiving ancillary handing in a smoked salted camarel cheesecake and finished in First Place! 🥇 Tomorrow is the last Canadian competition of the year.
