Coached Putnam City to 3 Straight Cross Country State Championships (1973, 1974, 1975)
Coached the State Champion 2-Mile Relay team at Putnam City (1976)
Coached the State Record setting 2-Mile Relay team at Putnam City (1976)
Coached the State Champion Girls 4x800 Relay team at Putnam City North (1991)
Inducted into Oklahoma Track Coaches Hall of Fame
PC North named a Cross Country meet in his honor (2021)
