Our First Wheel, Walk, Run 5K Raised $5,000!
On October 24, our community came together for SFFLC’s inaugural Wheel, Walk, Run 5K, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
We set out to raise $5,000 to support Oklahomans of all abilities, and thanks to our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, we reached our goal!
But the best part? The smiles, the laughter, and hearing people say, “I came to support the cause.”
That’s what this day was all about. People showed up not just to walk, roll, or run, but to stand behind a mission that believes every body deserves a place to belong.
To our sponsors, thank you for investing in our mission and helping make this first event possible. To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, jumping in wherever needed, and keeping everything moving. And to everyone who participated, donated, cheered, or simply showed up to support the cause, you helped make this day something special.
As a first-year event, we learned a lot, laughed a lot, and already have ideas for next year. We can’t wait to do it again!
