Meal prep the last two weeks. Last week (top) Stuffed venison meatloaf, grass fed beef brisket, boiled eggs, and cream cheese.

This week (bottom) Cod fillets, turkey burgers, venison burgers, boiled eggs, and cream cheese.

Listen up my fellow Okies! If you don't already know, then you heard it here first , the 10th Annual Oklahoma Fishing Fools Parenting Done Right contest is happening now!! This contest started June 7th and will run until August 3rd, so there's plenty of time to get those kiddo's out fishing. This contest is for kids 15 years of age and younger as an incentive to get them outdoors and off there screens. There will be prizes given out to 10 lucky kids with some prize packs including guided fishing trips, and all prize packs will have some cool bait packages from 405 Fishing. I love this time of year!! Despite the rain earlier, I've got the smoker going. Jalipeno Jack Sausage, Boiled Eggs, and Salmon are on the menu this week.

Put the finishing touches on this fishing rod. Custom made for my dad, retired MSgt. of the US Air Force. I think it turned out really nice, and I'll be honored to give it to him for his birthday Saturday. Hopefully, we'll have an opportunity to put it to good use this year.

I'm super excited to be building my first casting rod. It's an MHX blank with Fuji components from . Gonna take it crappie fishing next month.
