The Oklahoma Coaches Association (OCA) has partnered with Synco to provide official All-State and All-Star-by-Class jackets for athletes recognized through the OCA. Synco is the exclusive provider of official awards jackets featuring the registered OCA patch. In addition, Synco will donate a portion of each jacket sale to the OCA Scholarship Fund. This partnership is especially significant because, for the first time in OCA history, it provides a dedicated financial source of support for the nearly 50 scholarships awarded to Oklahoma student-athletes each school year. Athletes may purchase a jacket from any company they choose; however, the official OCA jacket is available only through Synco.

After 45 years of service as the OCA All-State Games Coordinator, Strippy Biggers announced his retirement. OCA staff and members of Strippy’s family recently gathered at Cattlemen’s Steakhouse to celebrate his remarkable tenure. When Strippy began serving as Games Coordinator, the OCA sponsored All-State games in football, boys basketball, boys wrestling, and baseball. Under his leadership, and in collaboration with four executive directors, the OCA All State games expanded to include eleven additional sports. Today’s All-State Games reflect Strippy’s dedication to the OCA and his enduring commitment to athletes and coaches across Oklahoma. Congratulations, Strippy, on this outstanding milestone, and best wishes as you begin your next endeavor.
