Can you spare just one hour to ensure a neighbor doesn't go hungry?

Right now, there is an urgent need for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in Norman, S. OKC, Moore, and Noble. The need in Norman is especially critical.

Without volunteer drivers, some of our most vulnerable seniors may not receive a meal at all.

How you can help:

Time Commitment: Just 1 hour per day, Monday through Friday.

Flexibility: Volunteer for as many or as few days as your schedule allows!

Summer Opportunity: We especially encourage teens and young adults to join our mission during the summer months. It’s a powerful way to give back to those who built our community.

This isn’t just a delivery; for many, it’s the only friendly face they see all day. Don't let their plates go empty.

There’s a side of this dementia journey that rarely makes it on camera.

It’s the daughter who wakes up every day knowing her mother is still here… but also slowly slipping away.
The daughter who is a full-time, in-home caregiver, carrying the weight of decisions no child should have to make for a parent.

She’s also holding a full-time job, because life doesn’t pause.
She’s raising a teenage daughter who still needs guidance, presence, and safety.
She’s showing up for her oldest daughter, now a new parent, offering strength while learning how to be strong herself.
She’s being a wife, trying to protect her marriage in the middle of exhaustion and grief.
She’s a friend, even when she has little left to give.

And just because she isn’t always in the photos or videos documenting this journey…
doesn’t mean she isn’t there.
Doesn’t mean she isn’t carrying the heaviest part of this.
Doesn’t mean this disease isn’t affecting her deeply.

Dementia doesn’t just steal memories.
It slowly steals roles, relationships, and pieces of the people who love hardest.

So if you know a daughter walking this road—quietly, faithfully, relentlessly—
see her.
Pray for her.
Give her grace.

Because watching your mother slowly fade while still having to show up for everyone else…
is a kind of heartbreak few ever understand.
