Did you know our parks are buzzing with certified wildlife habitats that support monarchs, native pollinators, birds, and more? This week, during Go Public Gardens Days 2026, explore some of Oklahoma City’s incredible pollinator spaces and see how many different pollinators you can spot!

At Scissortail Park, we proudly maintain 4 Wildlife Habitats certified with Monarch Watch:

🦋 Monarch Mountain — Colossal habitat spanning 8,400 sq. ft.
🌳 Woodland Waystation — Extra-large habitat with 3,600 sq. ft.
🌼 Wildflower Hill — Colossal habitat covering 36,000 sq. ft.
🌲 Pinetum Pitstop — Colossal habitat with 6,000 sq. ft.

Plus, the Children’s Garden at Myriad Botanical Gardens (the Pollinator Pocket and Bird henge/Pond area) is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat!

Join the OKCPHIL, Music Director Alexander Mickelthwate, and the deadCenter Film for a FREE evening of music and movies under the stars at Scissortail Park on Sunday, May 17 at 8:30pm

This special concert will feature iconic film music from Superman, E.T., La La Land, Top Gun, The Godfather, Rocky, and more!

✨ Experience the award-winning animated short Whose Woods Are These projected on screen while the orchestra performs the score live, complete with special effects.

🎥 Plus, deadCenter Film will officially unveil the schedule for the 26th annual deadCenter Film Festival!
