Don't miss the opportunity to grab some ready-to-use compost during Farmers Market season from 9am to 1pm! We have only 2 more Saturdays left for this program.

♻️ Bring your containers (please limit to 5 gallons) and take home nutrient-rich compost made right here in the park by our horticulture team.
✅WE DO ACCEPT:
o Fruit and veggie scraps
o Coffee grounds
o Egg shells
o Paper towels/Paper products (without waxy film)
o Dried leaves
o Tea bags
❌WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
o Meat
o Dairy
o Processed foods
o Oils
o Receipts
o Paper with a waxy coating
o Plastic
o Produce stickers/rubber bands
🟢TIPS TO MAKE PROCESSING EASIER:
o Freeze your scraps! This will speed up decomposition once it thaws, but also helps with the smell.
o Chop your scraps into small pieces for quicker decomposition
o If possible, bring your waste in a bag (paper bag preferably!) for easier processing.
