This shouldn’t be happening. The gym is supposed to be a place where people can focus on improving themselves not an open invitation to hit on women.

Ladies shouldn’t have to worry about someone learning their name, looking them up on Facebook, or making them feel uncomfortable just because they showed up to work out. Respect boundaries. Not every woman at the gym is looking to meet someone.

This is a screen shot from a man who has now learned my name an thought it was ok to find me on Facebook an write me this message. (who has approached me multiple times now in the gym) I do not give the invite that I wanna talk to anyone in the gym. I keep my hat low, headphones on, and make sure I don’t make eye contact with anyone. So when I have to stop what I’m doing to remove my headphones to talk to you is not ok! ( my personal opinion ) This is a GYM not a club, bar or a place where I wanna socialize.
