Our Bloom classes have been bursting with color and creativity throughout October! 🎨🌈✨
Our Sprouts, Blossoms, and Sweet Peas have been exploring our Color Me Creative theme bringing art, imagination, and self-expression to life through movement! From swirling like paintbrushes and jumping like splashes of paint, our little artists have been encouraged to make their own creative choices and add a little bit of their colorful personalities to everything we create together! 💛
🌼 What are they discovering in Bloom?
Creative movement gives children the freedom to make choices, explore new ideas, and express themselves in ways that are uniquely their own. When children are encouraged to imagine, experiment, and create without one “right” answer, they're building confidence, problem-solving skills, and trust in their own ideas!
🌼 Want to keep the creativity flowing at home? Try these simple and fun ideas:
🌈 Ask your dancer, “If your favorite color could dance, how would it move?”
🖌️ Grab an imaginary paintbrush and paint big shapes in the air
🎨 Play Color Freeze Dance and create a new pose for every color
✨ Turn on your favorite October Bloom Playlist songs and have a colorful family dance party!
These little moments of creative play help children grow their confidence and imagination while celebrating all the wonderful things that make them uniquely them!
