Even people who workout every day have rolls.. don’t be fooled. ☺️
It’s Friday, last leg day of the week is done AND it’s supposed to be a high of 81 today.. what’s not to be happy about?! ☀️
No heavy weights today, just some core work!
I noticed that by lower back has been hurting lately.. instead of blaming it on deadlifts or whatever was on the program I realized maybe I’ve been neglecting my core. (I mean it’s pretty fun to lift heavy s**t.. not as much fun to hold a plank). There are MANY reasons why we struggle with back pain, but I would say one of the most common reasons is a weak core. I don’t care how heavy you can lift bro, if you don’t train your core it WILL catch up with you!
Here are a couple fun exercises you can incorporate in your training.. This morning we did 100 reps of each but feel free to adjust to your program!
Now that all this snow is finally starting to melt, it’s time to get out of hibernation and into the gym! Working out is the best way to warm yourself up, am I right?!

Made it a goal this year to try new/different types of training and I definitely think this will be a permanent addition! Boxing is so fun and actually a really effective cardio workout! Thanks to for teaching my uncoordinated ass how to throw these hands 😂👊🏻

Looking like it’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend! If you’re needing an excuse to get out here you go.. All you need for this total body workout is a park bench and a set of dumbbells. (Jump rope can be replaced with jumping jacks or mountain climbers) Finish with a 20min jog or walk and you’re all set. Doesn’t always have to be crazy intense, just get moving and have fun!
