Seize the Day! Today could have been one of those days I talked myself into skipping a workout. "You're short on time", "One less run won't make a difference." Etc. But experience also reminded me of how good I feel getting out into the morning air. So I suited up and got out the door-just me and the morning. No ear buds, podcasts, just the sounds of my neighborhood. Do you have 10 minutes? A 10 minute walk is better than no walk! Revive your soul and enjoy this beautiful fall weather!

Words of Congratulations!! and Way to Go!! to Sherry Ray! We've been working together for 15 months. Due to her dedication to her workouts and making a decision to change her eating habits the knee pain she originally presented with is no longer an issue, she's lost 30 lbs and her muscle definition is showing! Thanks Sherry for allowing me to be a part of your fitness journey!

Don't let the winter weather get you down! Drag out those hats, gloves, boots and coats (you spent money on them, use them!) and get outside! A walk around the neighborhood (watch out for slick spots) will do wonders for your emotional and physical health. Fresh air and sunshine YES! And if you are concerned about walking find a sunny spot and plop down a lawn chair. Pretend you are at a fancy chalet in the mountains. Enjoy the stillness of the snow and let yourself feel renewed.
