Now it’s time to highlight what our Sluggers have been doing with the bats 💪🏻💣

These athletes have been getting it done at the plate for their school teams this week, combining to go 51-122 (.418) with 38 RBI, 11 doubles and 8 triples.

That’s a whole lot of production from this group. 💥

We love following them, cheering them on and watching them compete in their school colors, but we’re already counting down until they’re back together in Sluggers uniforms. 🖤💛

Five Sluggers toed the rubber in school ball this week and flat-out DEALT. 🔥🥎

141 strikeouts in 78 innings with just 14 earned runs allowed.

Special shoutout to Abby, who tossed a complete game 7 inning shutout and racked up 19 strikeouts along the way. 😮‍💨

Proud of these athletes and the way they continue to compete, attack, and show up for their teams every time they step in the circle 💪🏻💛🖤

Welcome to the Sluggers, Moose Baughn! 🖤💛🩶

Moose and her Hoopeston squad picked up a thrilling walk-off win in extras on Thursday, and she came up big at the plate! Moose went 3-for-5 with a double, then singled in the 9th and came around to score the winning run.

Moose is a true utility player who can make an impact all over the field. She plays the game with a high softball IQ, brings hustle and heart every time she steps on the field, and is the kind of player who helps teams win in so many ways.

We’re so excited to have Moose joining us this season and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in a Sluggers uniform!

Welcome to the Sluggers, Carson Hamilton! 🥎

We got the chance to watch Carson’s junior high season opener, and she twirled a gem to win a 1–0 pitcher’s duel! Carson struck out 17 and allowed just 4 hits over 7 innings. She was just as impactful at the plate, ripping a big double and scoring the lone run of the game.

We’re so excited to have Carson joining us this season and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in a Sluggers uniform!
