RIVERSPORT Adventures in the downtown OKC's Boathouse District is the "go to" place for metro area families and visitors looking for outdoor fun including whitewater rafting and kayaking, adventure courses, zip lines, rock walls, cycling, high speed slides, bicycle pump tracks, flatwater kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. RIVERSPORT also offers rowing, dragon boating and flatwater canoe/kayak lessons and teams, corporate, masters and juniors teams, and major festivals including the OKC Whitewater Festival (May), Stars & Stripes RIver Festival (June) and the Oklahoma Regatta Festival (Sept/Oct). RIVERSPORT Adventures offers family fun March to October with adventure courses, zip lines, rock climbing, cycling and on-the-water activities including kayaking, dragon boating and stand up paddle boarding. RIVERSPORT is a project of the OKC Boathouse Foundation which also operates the OKC National High Performance Center and has been designated an official U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site for both rowing and canoe/kayak.

The RIVERSPORT Dragons traveled to Crossett, Arkansas, for their final race of the year and came home with a CLEAN SWEEP! 🥇🔥

Of the 14 teams competing, our Dragons were the fastest team of the day!

And the grand finale? That's where things got REALLY good. 👀

Trailing by 1–2 seats, the team dug deep, turned up the power and surged into FIRST PLACE in the final meters!

Our first day of the Oklahoma Regatta Festival was such a HIT! Let's do it allllll over again today, friends!

Racing today starts with the OCU Head of the Oklahoma at 8:30a and we finish the day with our OG&E NightSprints and Light up the Night tonight starting at 7p. Stop by the river and hang out with us!

The behind the scenes you don't see before race weekend...

We want to give a BIG shoutout and an even BIGGER thank you to the team at Paycom for spending their time off with us on Saturday for a group clean up of the Oklahoma River. They're here to make sure the river looks gorgeous for a weekend packed with racing!!

RIVERSPORT wouldn't run without volunteers. If you've ever spent your free time with us, we can't thank you enough. Thank you again to Paycom, and let's get ready for Oklahoma Regatta Festival Weekend!

Last caaaaaaalllllll!

This is the FINAL WEEKEND of the 2026 Whitewater Center season. We're open today & tomorrow from 10a - 5p!

If you made it out this season, thank you. We hope you made memories to last a life time. If you didn't, well... there's always next season (and don't keep us waiting)!

See you for more adventures in 2027. Until then, we still have the Oklahoma Regatta Festival the first weekend of October and the Scholastic Youth Rowing Championships on November 14. Private events and boathouse programs also continue all year!
