The 2026–2027 Storm Cheer season has officially begun, and we couldn’t be more excited! New faces, returning athletes, fresh goals, and a whole season of faith, friendship, and hard work are ahead. This is just the beginning… let’s make it a year to remember! 💙🌩️

Storm Cheer is BACK next week! We can’t wait to welcome our athletes, meet new faces, and kick off another season filled with faith, friendships, hard work, and unforgettable moments. July 22… let’s do this! 💙📣

At Storm Cheer, we believe the right coaches shape more than great athletes. They help build confident young women rooted in faith. That’s why we’re committed to surrounding our athletes with leaders who are passionate about excellence, mentorship, and pointing girls toward Christ.

Meet Ava Cunningham, our Assistant Coach. She has 10 years of experience as a gymnast, along with 2 years of sideline cheer and 3 years of competitive dance. She has coached all three of the sports mentioned above for a total of 4 years. She graduated from OCCC with an Associate of Arts degree in Diversified Studies and works as a server at Charleston’s. Her favorite thing to do is help girls learn to love the sport they have chosen while making them feel loved and chosen by Christ. She loves fishing, working out, and meeting new people. She is excited for what this year will bring! 💙⚡️
