A huge thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Windsong Fall Clinic such a great weekend. Whether you taught a session, trained with us, helped out, or simply stopped in to say hi, we enjoyed seeing you. It was awesome spending time with old friends and new ones, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Jim is 9th dan in aikido and the head instructor at Windsong Dojo, Jim will teach 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘜𝘬𝘦: 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 at this year’s Fall Clinic.

This session looks at the critical role of uke in aikido training, with progressive drills for teaching, developing, and refining uke skills.

Jack Bieler brings decades of experience in Tomiki-ryu aikido and classical weapons arts to this year’s Windsong Fall Clinic. He’ll be teaching sessions on 𝘑𝘰𝘥𝘰 𝘒𝘪𝘩𝘰𝘯 & 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘴 and 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘑𝘰 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴, exploring efficient movement, power generation, and the connections between empty-hand and weapons practice.

**Fall Clinic Instructor Spotlight: Prentis Glover**

Prentis has been studying martial arts since 1971 and has experience across more than seven different arts. He joined Windsong in 1999 and teaches classes in aikido, judo, and jodo.

At this year’s Fall Clinic, Prentis will teach a session called **Finding the Off-Balance: Kuzushi and Timing in Judo**, exploring practical ways to disrupt balance before the throw using timing, movement, and “tick-tock” drills.

He’ll also lead Windsong’s regular Saturday Morning Judo class, which is open to clinic participants.
