We are so excited to introduce you to Lolia! Starting in June, she’ll be teaching our Tuesday/Thursday 6am class ☀️

A lot of you have already seen her on her mat, plugging into the community, and we can’t wait for you to begin learning from her, too.

Lolia’s teaching style is rooted in slow, intentional movement and the idea of turning routine into ritual. She loves revisiting familiar poses and helping students discover something new within them each time they return to the mat. She brings nearly four years of dedicated practice into her teaching and approaches yoga with both curiosity and care.

One of the things we appreciate most about her is that she views teaching as an ongoing process of learning, too — always a student. We’re excited for her to help create a space where students can explore, reconnect, and come back to themselves 🌀🩵🌀

The Motion Collective is essentially a love story between the two of us. Love of movement, of evolution of life both solo and together, friendship and growth. The story isn’t ending, but there is change happening. We have about 10 days left with the badass Hialee Howard before she moves to Ohio! Come catch her in a class before she goes!!
Her presence will still be woven through all we do at MOCO, and we will continue to grow this family for her to come home to in a few years!

Hialee, you never cease to amaze me. Your ability to meld strength and softness is unlike anyone I’ve ever met. You love hard yet gracefully. You are a place of peace yet someone I can rely on to tell me what I need to hear, not just what I want to hear. I love you more than a dinky little caption could ever contain. Keep your phone charged and your FaceTime ready, because imma be callin…often 😏

This is ideal for those who can come once or twice a week or for those that come often but also may travel often! This lets you pick and choose which classes and how often you come, while still getting to plug into the community!

You started life learning the most important movements of all. Rocking. Rolling. Crawling. These worked with your entire makeup to make you strong, mobile and stable. We want to take some time to reintroduce you to that inner child who moved well and felt great!

Regardless of your weekly activity levels or lack there of, we could all use some recovery. Often times we hear the term recovery tossed around with little to no follow up of what that is or how to do it and we end up either hitting yet another ego lift or couch potato style rest day. Neither of which is your body stoked on. Let us help you take the guess work out 🩶

Spring has always been our “new year”
Winter is a time to hibernate. Days are short and the darkness makes us want to sleep. But spring is upon us!

The spring equinox is when the day and night meet in balance.
From here, the days begin to grow longer. (yay!)

We will be marking the shift with a special flow and some small rituals in its honor.

We maybe planted seeds for growth in our New Year’s resolution’s but spring is time for growth!

We act like everything is so efficient now, but many people feel worse and busier? Maybe efficiency shouldn’t be the only show in town…we gotta have a little play.

Even if you’re super strong, inversions are tricky. It’s not about pure force. Handstands are about unity and balance. All the little pieces and secret knowledge your body has accumulated since childhood get a whole new perspective upside down.

This workshop is for anyone! Let’s face it, handstands are something fun and playful with a level of “kinda scary” snuck into the mix. So if you have no experience that’s ok. We got you! If you’re a seasoned pro but want to level up, we got you too! This will be a safe space to play and explore!

In the workshop we will learn:
- how to exit a handstand safely
- playing with multiple entry variations
- building strength and technique
- improving alignment
- partner practice
