Fostering HOPE Okmulgee

Quick reminder that Fostering Hope is NOT Monday this month -- but it is tomorrow night Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 6p. Hosted by Cornerstone (617 N Oklahoma Ave in Okmulgee OK)

Active Supervision will be our topic presented by Krystal Lujan. She presented this recently at a Headstart and thought it would be beneficial for us!

There will be a shared meal, childcare, connections, and CE’s.

Fostering Hope returns to Monday nights.

This month’s training
will be Monday March 10th at 6pm with therapist Krystal Lujan LPC, from The You Place, located in Beggs Ok. CE’s will be given from a unit of study that we started last month titled “Being Enough, Self Acceptance, and Success.”

Cornerstone will host the training located at 617 N Oklahoma Ave Okmulgee. Bring some snacks to share for a light meal. Please RSVP to Mickey at 918-815-2430.

Cancelling our meetings these past couple of months:-/ has been our norm. The snow storm has been steady. So, in view of today's snow ❄️ and the high risks that go along with slick roads we have cancelled tonight’s meeting.

We thank you for your friendship these many years for being connected to Fostering Hope. Thank you for serving our OK Kids too! We appreciate the Okmulgee Times helping spread the word each month.

We plan to officially kick off the New Year on Thursday Feb. 13 at 6pm. (2nd Thursday of the month) with Ms. Krystal Lujan LPC with The You Place in Beggs, OK.

We are looking forward to a great year supporting Foster, Kinship and Adoption families in 2025! 2nd Thursdays of each Month at 6pm and hosted by Cornerstone located at 617 N Oklahoma Ave Okmulgee
