Saturday June 20, 2026 Father’s Day weekend, Berks County Pullers Association put on a garden tractor pull at the Oley Fairgrounds. It was a beautiful day for a pulling show. Mostly sunny all day with a nice breeze blowing and the temperature in the low eighties.
Our track crew had to work all day to keep moisture in the track for the pullers. They did a great job to give the pullers a good track to pull on all day. There are a few young pullers who work all day on the track, beside pulling their tractors. They are the future of Berks County Pullers and garden tractor pulling at Oley.
Forty-two pullers came to Oley Fairgrounds clay pulling track to show off their pullers and their driving skills. We had a total of one hundred sixty-nine hooks for the day. Berks County Puller’s have been very happy with the number of pullers coming to the pulls. With the cost of fuel, it has been great to see the number of pullers coming to Oley, PA.

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for both rounds of the Youth Factory Tractor Classes, for the rest of 2026 pulling year.
Change of date and start time: Wednesday evening August 5, 2026, at 5:30 pm at Newville, PA. One round of governed garden tractors. Nate Ardnt is putting on the pulling show. Added pull date Saturday July 18, 2026 start time 11:00 at Stevens Fire House.

Thinking ahead to 2027, it will be the forty-year anniversary of Berks County Puller Association. We are looking at new tee shirts for the anniversary. My daughter Diane has made a great design we are looking at. Put yours heads together and come up with how we should celebrate.

BCPA first pull of 2026 was on Sunday May 14, 2026. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a garden tractor pulling show. We had 39 pullers who came to pull their machines on the Oley clay track. There were pullers from PA, NJ, MD and WV who made the trip to Oley, PA. We had a total of 160 hooks to the sled for the day. Two new young pullers were pulling for the first time in the youth classes. The club took in three new members for a total of 31 members for 2026. Thank you to all who helped in anyway during the day, and to the pullers who came to support garden tractor pulling.

Sunday May 17, 2026, BCPA first pull of 2026 went great. We could not have asked for better weather. There were 160 hooks by 39 pullers. As always, the track crew did a great job, even with the sun and breeze all day. Thank you to the pullers, all the helpers, the fans and Schaeffer Catering.

BCPA first pull of 2026 will be Sunday May 17, 2026, with start time of 11:00 am. The pull will be at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds, Oley, PA.
Change of date and start time: Wednesday evening August 5, 2026, at 5:30 pm at Newville, PA. One round of governed garden tractors. Nate Ardnt is putting on the pulling show.

2026 BCPA membership. If you are still in school your dues will be $10.00 for the year and if you are out of school your dues will be $20.00 for the year. Send a check made out to Chris Lynn, to BCPA c/o Chris Lynn, 1350 Weavertown Road, Douglassville, PA 19518. Enclose a note as to who the membership is for and what classes you want to pull for points.
We do have some great news. Suggested by Pastor Paul we will have a new insurance company. The price has come down to $300.00 for 2026.
Thinking ahead to 2027, it will be the forty-year anniversary of Berks County Puller Association. We are looking at new tee shirts for the anniversary. My daughter Diane has made a great design we are looking at. Put yours heads together and come up with how we should celebrate.
Schaeffer Catering has agreed to do food in 2026 at the May, June, July and October pulls. All the Oley pulls should be covered for food.
