This glove has a little history behind it. This 1982 Louisville Slugger Big Daddy originally belonged to the customer’s dad, and he wanted to get it back on the field and .

The original plan was a cleaning, conditioning, and full relace. But once we got the glove completely delaced, we discovered a hole in the palm.

After going over the options with the customer, we decided on a leather palm patch. This will help keep the existing hole from getting larger while also providing a more comfortable feel when using the glove.

It’s always rewarding to work on gloves that have a story behind them, and even better when we can help keep them in the game for another generation.
