Olney Tiger Bass Fishing Team ended there run at the state finals. The team of Reid Fancher and Drake Koester ended the 2 day tournament in 15th place out of 60 boats from all over the state. What a achievement there guys

Thanks everyone that came out to fish are fundraiser on East Fork Lake. In first place was Chris Wagner and Cole Whitehead with a total weight of 17.26 pounds. In second place was Potts and Hardeen with total weight of of 16.76. In third place it was Trevor McKinney and Grant Olsen with total weight of 14.80. Big bas went to Charles Morehead with a 4.64 pounds. Once again thank you everyone that came out to support the team.

Day 1 of the ihsa state bass fishing finals at Shelbyvillie lake is in the books. The team of Reid Fancher and Drake Koester weighed in 12 pounds and 9 ounces good for a tie for second place. Day 2 starts at 7am tomorrow hopefully they can duplicate todays results again tomorrow.

The Olney Tigers Bass Fishing Team season came to an end last night with the end of the year banquet. The team celebrated with good food and awards given out. This team what can I say in the last three tournaments everyone brought in there limit of fish which is five, some tournaments was decided by ounces who was the winners. The team wants to thank all the supporters throughout the season and also the boat captains with you this season wouldn’t have been possible thank you!

Saturday June 7th from 6-12 the Richland County bass fishing team is having a fundraiser tournament on East Fork lake if you are not busy come out and support your local high school fishing team. Through this fundraiser this is how we get the money for gift certificate, rods, plaques for team of the year and pays for the end of the year banquet. Hope to see you there on the 7th of June

For those who signed up for the bass fishing team there will be an parent/angler meeting on Thursday December 19th in the commons area at 6pm see everyone there.

It’s that time of the year again the signup sheet is out. Any RCHS student that wants to be on the bass fishing team go to the main office and sign up. The sign up sheet will be out until December 9th. For those who sign up there will be a parent angler meeting on December 19th at 6pm in the common area. Let’s make the 2025 season the best one yet.

The Olney Tiger bass fishing team has two teams advancing to icasstt state championship June 1st and 2nd on Lake Springfield. If a team ends up in the top six they get to go to the national championship at Lake Chickmauga in Tennessee. These two teams fished all year and as a team they ended up 15th in the state against the best anglers in the state. The four anglers going to lake Springfield are Dylan Fulk, Alex Harness, Jakoby VanDyke and Drake Koester. If you see these four anglers out wish them luck in two weeks

The Olney Tiger Bass Fishing Team had there fundraiser tournament today. We would like to thank everyone that came out today and fish with us to help raise money for the team.

Jeff Lee and Ryan Fancher took 2nd with 10.30
Cade Baker and Eli Singer took 3rd with 7.60
Charles Morehead got big bass with 4.04

Tonight the Olney Tiger Bass Fishing Ream had there end of the year banquet. We had good food and awards was given out.

Biggest bag of the year was
Rylan Hancock and Drake Koester receiving a rod and reel combo
Most improved this year award winner was
Brad Muentener receiving a rod
