Olney Futball Club Try Out

Olney Futball Club would like to extend the opportunity to join the U16 Travel team to Olney and the surrounding communities. This team is comprised of a competitive group of talented young boys who have played soccer for years. We play competitively through SLYSA central Illinois division as well as other tournaments. * All players must be born 2009 or after
* All players must bring an official or a copy of an official birth certificate or government issued I.D such as a passport or state issued identification card
* All players must wear appropriate dress, cleats, and shin guards
* All player must be accompanied by a parent / Guardian at the tryout for signature of appropriate forms
* Tryout place, date and time TBD.

Way to go Tristin!

So far this week Tristin Butler has put in a couple fantastic performances at USATF Nationals in College Station, TX...
Tristin turned in a 4:15.36 1500m (that's a 4:34.18 1600m pace) yesterday and a 2:05.47 800m earlier today... this kid is an incoming freshman, btw. ⚡

Later today Gavyn Cothern will get rolling with Long Jump and follow that up with the High Jump on Saturday. Tristin will be competing in the finals of the 1500 Saturday and the 800 on Sunday. Again, results can be found here: https://live.athletictiming.net/meets/38942

Hello everyone
I hope everyone is doing well and our soccer players are enjoying the summer vacation.
Just wanted to let you know that today there are two soccer finals being played .
The first will be at 2:00 pm CST. It is the Euro 2024 championship match between Spain and England in Berlin, Germany.
The second will be at 7:00 pm CST. It is the
Copa America championship match between Argentina and Colombia in Miami, USA
It would be great and quite beneficial if the parents encourage our soccer players to watch them. It is soccer at its best. I want our soccer players to pay particular attention to
1. PASSING
2. Starting play from the back
3. Using the goalie as a last defender.
This is soccer at its best. I’m sure watching these matches would be very helpful. Enjoy
