Our Story
Welcome to Awakenings Horsemanship! This page is dedicated to the students, clients, horses, education, and horsemanship enlightenment that happens at our two Olympia-based facilities. Ash Wakeman specializes in applying the philosophies of foundation horsemanship to both English and Western disciplines and training, proving that tack is just a costume, and good horsemanship is good horsemanship. She also uses the very same philosophies and approach to train horses and their humans to achieve a harmonious partnership.
Services offered include horsemanship and riding lessons, horse training, c**t starting, and re-starts. Ash also provides equine-assisted transformational coaching, offering both individual sessions and retreat opportunities.
