Munn Lake

At Munn Lake (just south of Olympia off 65th Ave SE), the distance from the parking spaces to the water is incredibly short—just a few feet to about 50 feet away, depending on exactly where you park in the lot.

​Here is what you can expect from the layout:

​The Setup: The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) access site features a gravel parking area that leads directly to a single, concrete-plank boat ramp. Because the lot is quite compact, you are essentially parking right next to the launch area.

​Ease of Launch: If you are bringing a paddleboard or kayak, it’s a very quick, flat carry from your vehicle straight to the water's edge.

​Maneuverability: While the walk to the water is minimal, keep in mind that the turnaround area at the bottom of the ramp is relatively tight. If you are towing a trailer, it can take a bit of careful maneuvering when the lot is busy.

​Note: Because this is a WDFW site, don't forget to have your Discover Pass or WDFW Vehicle Access Pass displayed.
