Big thanks to Nick Young of velox_training_group for coming out and putting on a great class at our range.

A lot of good information and plenty for everyone to take back into their own training. We appreciate Nick making the trip and helping raise the level of our local shooters.

Looking forward to having him back.

🌲A little behind-the-scenes work at EPS.

Special thanks to Michael Crelling who owns All Things Wood LLC for bringing out his equipment, Josh Stone for letting us use his cement mixer, and Jake, Edward, Nathaniel and everyone for putting in the work to knock out a new batch of wall stands and props for the club.

Good matches take a lot of work before anyone hears the first timer beep. Appreciate the people who keep helping us build this place up.

Evergreen Practical Shooting is looking at hosting another USPSA NROI Range Officer Seminar.

To bring an NROI instructor out, we need a minimum of 20 students committed to attending.

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a certified USPSA RO—or want to get more involved with matches—this is a great opportunity to get certified locally.

🌲EPS is bringing Nick Young of velox_training_group to Evergreen Sportsmen's Club for a two-day Practical Pistol/Rifle Applications course.

🌲Nick is a USPSA Master-class Carry Optics shooter with a background across USPSA, 3-Gun, PRS, Steel Challenge, and Team DMR. His training is built around developing speed, accuracy, movement, and—most importantly—giving shooters a plan for how to continue training after the class. (Velox⁠)

🌲One of our goals at EPS is to help raise the overall level of practical shooting in our area. That means putting on quality matches and practice sessions, but also bringing nationally recognized instructors to Evergreen so local shooters have access to high-level training.
