On this last day of pride we are reminded more than ever the reason why pride exists. The fight for visibility, equality, and to take up space in a world that wants nothing more than to silence you is at the heart of pride and the heart of roller derby.

Our transgender teammates, family, friends, and, community deserve to take up space on and off the track. South Sound Roller Derby stands with our transgender friends, they are welcome in our space with open arms.
