For Andrea, the 2024 Heartland Marathon took her one step closer to finishing a marathon or longer in each state. Nebraska was state number 48, and it was her boyfriend, Steven Riga's, first half marathon. Way to go, Andrea and Steven! Omaha Running Club

50 races in 50 days? No problem! The Hough Family is on a mission to complete 50 events in 50 days and raise money for charity. The Houghs ran the 10K on Sunday to raise money for Smile Train, an international nonprofit that supports free surgeries for cleft-affected children. The family of four began their journey on Sept. 11 in Anchorage, Alaska. Their goal is to end in Hawaii by Oct. 31. Omaha Running Club
