Attention Viking Nation !! 🗣️🗣️ Your Viking Softball team is looking for your support on Wednesday, September 20th! Fundraising is a necessity for the success of any program. Every year we have girls tryout who have never played the sport, which is a wonderful thing to be able to teach what we love to someone who wants to learn. However, in order to do that safely and effectively we need to continue update bats, catching equipment, helmets, etc. Don’t even worry about what’s for dinner on Wednesday, come join us and our families for food and a great time! It’s a beautiful week to come down to Fontenelle park and watch your favorite softball team get some dubs! The JV/Varsity teams will be hosting Platteview today, and Lincoln tomorrow. Game times are 4:30/6 for both days. Then we wrap up with an away game against Papio South on Wednesday, 5/6:45pm. Stay tuned for more exciting news! Go Vikings! 💙💛🥎

It’s been a slight break from softball but don’t worry, we’re back in full swing for the rest of the week. Leading off this evening, the Vikings will be hosting the South Packers with JV playing at 4:30, varsity to follow at 6pm. Tomorrow both teams are away at Westside (makeup game) starting at 5pm, Varsity to follow. We will be completing our week with Metros on Thursday and Friday at Papillon Landing (bracket TBD). There’s plenty of opportunities to come and support your Vikings softball team, we’d love to see you there! 💙💛

The South Invite will now be played on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY due to the excessive heat that’s supposed to continue through Thursday. This is also a reminder to stay hydrated and to take care of yourselves and each other. North looks forward to taking on the tournament hosts South, in their first game. Stay tuned for more updates!
