ππ΄ Horsemanship Has No Age Limit β Congratulations, Bandy! π΄π
At Ashley Mason Equestrian, the Levels of Horsemastership arenβt just for kids β our adult riders are leveling up too! πͺβ¨
Today weβre celebrating Bandy for passing Level Three Horsemanship! ππ
Level Three Horsemanship reflects deeper understanding, greater independence, and true partnership from the ground β and Bandy demonstrated exactly that.
To pass Level Three Horsemanship, she showed:
β
Confident, safe handling with increased independence
β
Strong awareness of horse body language and appropriate response
β
Consistent, correct grooming and preparation routines
β
Ability to assess tack fit and make thoughtful adjustments
β
Proactive barn safety awareness and horse-first decision making
β
Growing leadership and responsibility in daily horse care
The Levels of Horsemastership is our 10-level curriculum hand-created by founder and Program Director Ashley Mason, comparable to karate belt levels, with measurable benchmarks across Riding, Knowledge, Horsemanship, Tack & Tacking, and Stable Management β and adults move through the same measurable standards as our youth riders.
We love seeing our adult riders commit to structured growth, skill development, and lifelong learning. Bandy is proof that itβs never too late to refine your horsemanship and raise your standards. π
