OK, we appreciate all of the input. We have been watching the forecast closely. While it looks like we could probably skate by for the night, the meteorologists all seem pretty geeked up. With that in mind, we are just going to cancel for tonight. The unpredictability lends itself to chances of severe weather popping up out of nowhere. We want everyone to stay safe.
Again, no volleyball tonight, Monday the 18th of May.

Well, Monday night volleyball folks...

Spring session volleyball starts tonight!!!

We are opening up the DRIVING RANGE for the 2026 season today!
We will be open 10:30-6 on the weekends and 11-6 Monday through Friday. (Weather Permitting)
Hours will get longer as the season moves on.

One quarter away… the countdown is on!

Today is the day! At halftime of the Super Bowl, we will open up registrations for Spring Sand Volleyball 2026!!
Just go to www.schmidleys.com for all the information on dates and times and click on the links to get signed up.
FYI... some of the time slots sell out almost instantly. If you click on the selection and it won't let you pay, most likely, it is already full.
If you don't get the night or time that you wanted and believe you are experiencing issues with the site feel free to reach out to us at the [email protected] address but please keep in mind that it takes us a while to sort through all of the registrations coming in and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Home We have five outdoor sand volleyball courts located right next to the stockade pavilion which is perfectly suited to quench your thirst.  Courts are available for league play only.  At this time, our leagues are all 6 x 6 coed, recreational leagues. 

Spring 2026 Volleyball Registration is only a week away! Spring session will start April 20th this year, but registration opens at halftime of the Super Bowl next Sunday.

Just an FYI... we are changing our policy on kids at volleyball for the 2026 season. All children under the age of 16 must remain seated at the tables where their parents are playing or with their parents under the Pavilion. After numerous complaints and warnings, there still seems to be some discrepancies as to what kids should and shouldn't be doing. We are going to try and streamline it for everyone this year. That means, no sand toys, no balls, no wandering around. Just constructive things that can be done while seated at the tables.

Well folks, with the Super Bowl coming up in just a few short weeks, it’s time to remind everyone that sand volleyball season is just around the corner! Get your teams together and get ready to sign up at halftime of the big game!!!

At the beginning of the halftime show on Super Bowl Sunday, you can go to www.schmidleys.com and register for our 2026 Spring sand volleyball session. We will be posting more info here and updating the website soon to reflect the dates and times for this years leagues!

Well folks, if you’re thinking about getting some swings in before the end of the year, this is it. This Sunday, November 2nd, is the last day of the 2025 season for the driving range!

Daylight savings time ends for the year on Sunday and it will start getting dark pretty early. That’s our cue to get equipment winterized and put away for the year. We hope the weather stays nice for weeks to come, however, the driving range will remained closed until sometime after Valentine’s Day 2026. After that, it’s up to Mother Nature to determine when we reopen for the 2026 season.

Just an FYI…. If you are looking to hit balls today, make sure you get it in by 2:00. After that we are closing down so everyone can concentrate on the Huskers taking on Michigan in a BIG GAME!!!! Go Big Red!
