Behind every growing business is a whole lot of life happening behind the scenes 💚💍
If you’ve spent much time around The Back Nine, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Jared right alongside Mercedes. Supporting her, showing up at events, helping behind the scenes, cheering on the businesses, and being there through the long days, big ideas, new locations, and everything that comes with building something you believe in.
And now, they’re officially husband and wife 🤍
While in Washington, D.C. for business earlier this month, they decided they were done waiting. They took a couple of days for themselves and eloped on August 6th. Simple, spontaneous, meaningful, and perfectly them.
The Back Nine is a business, but behind it is a family. A family that shows up for one another, believes in the vision, celebrates the wins, works through the crazy seasons, and grows together through it all.
We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter for two people who mean so much to the Back Nine family.

If you know Mercedes, you know she puts her whole heart into everything she does. Her family, her businesses, her team, and the communities she’s helped build through The Back Nine.
Her vision has always been bigger than golf. It’s about creating spaces where people feel welcome, where friends and families can spend time together, and where anyone can pick up a club and feel like they belong.
We’re pretty lucky to have her leading the way, dreaming big, and constantly finding new ways to bring people together.

Congratulations to this young golfer on winning his Drive, Chip & Putt subregional and earning his spot at the next round at Whistling Straits! One more win and he’s headed to the finals at Augusta National. 🔥
And the fun isn’t over yet. Tomorrow, he’ll be joining the Back 9 Omaha team on the course for the RE/MAX Charity Golf Tournament!
