Tonight at midnight is the FINAL chance to get donations in for this year’s WWAA Fundraiser.

Right now, our current leader for the ceremonial first pitch Saturday night at the Omaha Storm Chasers game has raised around $300 — but we also have a LOT of kids sitting right around the $100 mark, which is going to make it really tough deciding the final 10 players who get to participate in the Field of Dreams experience and take the field with a Storm Chasers player.

That’s all the more reason those extra little donations matter. They truly add up and could end up being the difference between making the field Saturday night or just missing the cut.

Every dollar raised goes directly back into improvements for WWAA and helping us continue building the best experience possible for our players and families.

Also… apparently we accidentally stirred up the international trademark police by having the words “Little League” in one of our fundraiser logos. A few grumpy gusses from other leagues around town made a stink about it, so to avoid any confusion, WWAA is not affiliated with or representing itself as part of Little League International.

We updated the logo and messaging to reflect something that’s actually true anyway — WWAA already is the best league in District 66.

More importantly, your support and donations are helping us continue growing this community into something really special, and for that, we’re incredibly grateful.

Tomorrow is your last day to order tickets for our WWAA Night at the Omaha Storm Chasers on Saturday, May 30th!!

All registered coaches and players get in free (still need to register) and will get to walk in the parade with their team before the game!

Discounted seat tickets available for friends and family for only $14 a piece (+taxes/fees).

We had so much fun last year and can’t wait to cheer on the Storm Chasers as they take on the Memphis Redbirds!

WWAA families — quick reality check 😅

Our fundraiser closes this Wednesday, and right now we haven’t received enough donations to cover all 10 kids taking the field with the Omaha Storm Chasers this Saturday night.

We’re not asking for donations just to be pests. Fundraisers like this are truly the only way our league can make field improvements, repairs, and upgrades for the kids and families in our community.

Every donation helps, and every kid entered still has a shot ⚾❤️

As of now, all games tonight (Friday 5/22) are on. However, radar shows another system moving in between 4:00–5:00 PM, and if those rains hit, we’ll likely have to cancel. Just wanted to be transparent so teams can plan accordingly.

Great season for the Warriors and a program our community can really be proud of. Congrats to the players and coaches for building something future WWAA kids are going to grow up wanting to be part of. ⚾️❤️
