Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's CBL Golf Fundraiser this past Friday! From our golfers and hole sponsors to those who generously donated raffle prizes and silent auction items, your support helps make the Corn Belt League experience possible for hundreds of collegiate baseball players each summer. Despite a brief rain shower midway through the tournament, it turned out to be a beautiful day at the course. We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community!
Now it’s time to play some ball!

The wait is almost over...
Last weekend, players and coaches from across the country have arrived in Omaha to prepare for the 2026 CBL Season. From meeting host families and reconnecting with teammates, to league meetings, practices, and our annual Dale Carnegie Leadership Workshop, we are set to have another great summer!
Opening Day is this Monday with a full slate of games on deck to kick off another exciting season of competition, development, and memories throughout Omaha. We’re grateful for our host families, coaches, players, sponsors, & supporters who make this experience possible each summer.

One of the most important parts of the summer experience in the Corn Belt League isn’t just the baseball played on the field. It’s the relationships built off of it. For all out of state players, host family information will be sent out on May 17th where players will receive the contact information for the host family you’ve been paired with and will have the opportunity to connect directly through a phone call or Zoom call for an introduction and to coordinate arrival plans. Once you’ve connected with your host family, we ask that all out-of-state players plan to arrive in Omaha between May 22–24 so you can get settled in ahead of our league-wide meeting on May 24th at 6pm. If your college team is still competing in postseason play during that time, that’s not a problem. We just ask that you communicate clearly with both your host family and your head coach so everyone can be on the same page throughout the process.
We are incredibly excited about the group of host families joining us this summer and truly believe they will provide an unforgettable experience for our players. To our host families, thank you! Thank you for opening your homes, welcoming in players from across the country, and helping create an experience that means far more than just one summer of baseball. Every year, players arrive nervous about living with people they’ve never met before. But year after year, those same players leave Omaha with lifelong relationships and memories they’ll still talk about 20 years from now! We’ve seen host families attend weddings, travel to watch former players compete at their colleges, vacation together, and become lifelong friends after the summer is over.
The host family program is more than just housing a college athlete during the summer months — it’s family, community, and one of the biggest reasons the summer experience in Omaha becomes something our players never forget!
