I began training taekwondo in 1999 and earned my first degreee black belt in
2003 at which time I assisted in training other students. After I earned my training certification years later it became apparent that I loved
the sport for more than just a "work-out" but rather a way for me to teach and train

Here is one last Tournament for the 2026 Tournament season that we will be attending. Pre-register by October 27th to me please.
$45 preregistration or $50 the day of at the door.
I know it’s sometimes hard to get students to and from these tournaments so If anyone needs a ride we can make arrangements to get them there and back in a timely manner, just let me know.
Mrs Westerhold brings students to our tournament so let’s show our appreciation back by supporting hers.

Wow what a crazy amount of rain we received especially yesterday. 😬😞
Hopefully everyone’s is doing good today and your houses haven’t gotten any water damage from all the rain. 🙏

Don’t forget to bring your Tournament medals from the Tri-State tournament tonight so that we can get a group photo. I’m feeling better today so I will see you all tonight at classes. 😊

All I can say today is WOW!
Seeing our students apply what they have learning in class at the Tri-State Classic hosted by Marshall's Taekwondo Academy yesterday really made all of us Instructor’s very proud to say the least. We had a total of 16 students compete. Your efforts paid off as your combined efforts earned us the medium size school award for the most combined points. If you have any photos or videos from yesterday and you would like to share them with the group that would be great. The Competition Team brought home 4 Gold medals for their performance.

Thank you all for your trust and belief in our Instructor’s / School and for making the drive to Sioux City to test your skills.
Bring you medals on Thursday to class and we will get a group photo.

The next tournament is in Wayne on November 7th being hosted by Wayne Twin Rivers Taekwondo. I will be posting the details on this one shortly.
