Fight fans get to know the opposition:

Alan Panduro Angulo is extremely difficult to secure opponents. Why? All for good reasons. He was the #2 rated amateur in the nation for multiple years add in his experience growing up in the already famed B&B Accademy.

However, when looking for a local fighter to add Alan to the already agreed Main event for B&B trained athlete, Nico Ali Walsh, a young man named Nasser Matrane, jumped at the oppotunity.

The 5’9 southpaw had another opportunity in the works, canceled it and accepted the tough challenge with little to no resistance.

BG: Tell me about your fight background.

Matrane: I was a solid soccer player, competing in Spain, COVID derailed those plans. I know at my age, it would be difficult after the age of 23 to make a career out of it. I came back to the states, landed a job, but wanted more in life, started training in a sport where I felt that age is minute.

BG: But, why fighting? Did you get into some scraps on the soccer field? Not many are built for this sport, tell me your why?

Matrane: Honestly, as a kid I grew up without the luxuries of cable tv etc. But my dad had old vhs and DVD’s of Bruce Lee, and all kinds of combat stuff. I guess in my mind, I knew there was something in my childhood that I could channell.

BG: So, you started kick boxing, done some MMA, and most recently boxing. Which do you see as your footing?

Matrane: All of them, just like Bruce Lee, a true martial artist works on all of them. I pick things up quickly, but I also train like a beast with high energy.

BG: I see you faced a fellow undefeated 140 in Andre Moore. Scores were very close, and you didn’t get the win, but that’s a huge accomplishment. Tell me about that fight since you are once again assigned to face Angulo with a 6-0 record.

Matrane: Yea, it’s crazy that you brought up that fight, I thought I won and everyone in the arena did too, they still talk about it.

BG: In closing, what excites you most about facing Angulo?

Matrane: I mean it’s on a stacked card, Grandson of Ali I mean cmon, who doesn’t get stoked for that. He’s undefeated, he’s with Crawford team, he’s supposed to be the goods, I want tough challenges and I welcome the task. I bet our fight steals the show.
