I still remember celebrating America's 200th Birthday in 1976 and walking through the Freedom Train. I was in awe of the incredible history of our country, and 50 years later, I still am.

America's story isn't perfect, but it's extraordinary. It reminds us that every generation has the opportunity—and the responsibility—to leave this nation better than they found it.

As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, I hope we can remember that we're stronger when we come together than when we let our differences divide us. We don't have to agree on everything to treat each other with kindness, respect, and dignity.

Michele and I wish our students, families, friends, and the friends we haven't met yet a safe and happy Fourth of July.

To this beautiful country I love... Happy Birthday, America!

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and role models who lead by example both on and off the mat.

Thank you for the lessons, encouragement, strength, and values you pass on to the next generation every day.

From our family to yours, we wish all the fathers of the United States Kido Federation a wonderful Father's Day filled with family, laughter, and great memories.

I had the pleasure of presenting Ben Thompson with his USKF Hall of Fame award last week. Congratulations Ben! It was great to see you.

What an amazing martial arts weekend with seminars, the USKF HOF and ONMAC! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, traveled to be there with us and brought your positivity and support to all those attending. You are an amazing group. We are excited for next year already!
