Step Out for Seniors Walk a thon

Save the Date! The Step Out for Seniors Walk a thon is coming up fast! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 18th, 2026 at Benson Park from 8:30am-1pm. It will be a fun day starting with a walk in the park, vendors from all around the five county area, farm stands from Whispering Roots, a line dancing demonstration from The Silver Steppers from the Fremont Friendship Center, tai chi in the park and lunch! Only $5 registration that includes a fantastic lunch provided by Company Kitchen. Head over to any area senior center for a registration form or call the ENOA Nutrition Office at 402-444-6513 to receive more information.

Fundraisers held to help Omaha-area senior centers Dozens of people took advantage of the nice weather this morning and took a walk through the park to raise funds for senior centers, sponsored by the Nebraska Office on Aging.
