Megan and Ryan Mech have turned their grief into a gift for NICU families, sharing their late son's love of storytime 📚📖💙.

To honor sweet Miles – who was always full of joy and smiles – the Mech family donated four books to each of the current 31 Methodist Women's Hospital NICU families.

Their kindness brought comfort, connection and a reminder that no NICU parent walks the journey alone. The Mechs hope to continue their generosity every year during Miles’ birthday week (1/6/2015) – all in an effort to share some .

Sara Rose Dolinski really did it this time …she gifted us with a beautiful piece of Art! It is a MILES Owl… it has his port wine birthmark and eye goobers!! She made Mama & Daddy have tears… Tears of JOY!!👼🥰🦉

With the ending of our Miles4Miles 5K Era, We are selling all remaining shirts for $10/each with a bonus Koozie included! LOCAL (Omaha Area) only!! Sizes available on the pictures. We have a few toddler shirts and onesies left for $5/each!

It’s the Ending of an Era, with a new one on our horizon we are excited to share!! We would like to express our gratitude and sincere admiration for all of your outstanding efforts at our FINAL 2025 Miles4Miles 5K Today!! Don’t worry! This is not a GOODBYE, we are just going to do a full circle of Miles’ life! The Miles Patrick legacy will live on for many more years and years to come… We are going to donate books to babies & bring a gift of hope to parents in the NICU on Miles’ birthday! We couldn’t be more grateful for everything that you all have done over the last decade since we started Miles4Miles. Every single one of you have helped make a positive impact on our scholarship winners at St Wenceslaus with a Catholic School education! Thank you to all of our family, friends & new friends we have met over the years; we truly have been blessed with a great amount of support over the last 10 wonderful years of honoring our sweet & loving, Miles Patrick!!
