Seems like we just can't seem to have a last Sunday of the month this summer where it's not supposed to be over 90 degrees. Let's plan on going for a ride this Sunday regardless. Plan on 10-15 miles, bring lights and helmets and whatever else you need. See you here, then!

Howdy!

We at CBPO want to extend our gratitude to all of you. Thank you for your immense support over the years, we have been able to accomplish more than we could ever imagine. We would not exist without your helping hands and thoughtful donations!

We look forward to what’s to come and hope you’ll continue to tag along for the ride.

Look out for eachother & stay safe.

We are in need of your voice! Ride in style and show out for your community at the 2027 City Budget Hearing on August 11th, 6:00PM.

Showing face in the seats of City Hall and testifying about your passion for a better Omaha carries weight and helps us set the tone for our representatives.

A group ride will give us the opportunity to connect and regulate before presenting our thoughts, concerns, and dreams. Whether it’s your first or sixth time, we are excited to have you join!

Check out Strongly Worded Letters for further information regarding the process, budget breakdowns, and opportunities for assistance in writing your testimony.

Hey all! We have a bunch more reflectors to give out and we still don't have any protected bike lanes so let us Ride and Reflect again this Sunday! Bring your bike, your helmet, your lights. And your reflectors. And bring a friend who didn't get one last time around and let's cruise. We will be massing up here at the shop at 5:30 with a rollout as close to 6 as we can. We will be hanging at the shop from close at 4 til the ride starts, so if you need to make some tweaks to your set-up we'll have some time for that. See you there!

On May 2nd we collaborated with Bancroft Elementary in hosting a Bike Rodeo!

Working with the school, in line with our mission, we invited students who lacked the means or access for accessible transportation.

Through this three hour program students learned about bike safety, basic maintenance, and vocabulary for parts of the bicycle. A couple students conquered the feat of riding their bike for the first time!

While the former are important, we made sure to have fun with a couple games such as Red Light, Green Light and Foot Down.

Together we emphasized the importance of riding as a way of growing our curiosity, care for our community, and exploring independence.

Our Bancroft Bike Rodeo graduates receive free,

🚴🏽‍♀️ Helmets from Scheel’s
♻️ Bikes donated by YOU!
📚 Books from the Head Librarian at Bancroft Elementary

We send our gratitude to Principal Milan, LCSW Leah Baker, and volunteers from South High’s Educators Rising, for their unwavering support and excitement for the first of many bike rodeos.
