Last week, our team had the opportunity to visit the construction site of the future GreenState Millard Activity Center and see the incredible progress happening inside the building.
While walls are still going up and floors are still being poured, it’s already exciting to imagine the impact this space will have on kids and families across our community. This was also a chance to simply pause and say thank you to our entire Spark team for an amazing school year. 💚
At Spark, there really is no “off season.”
We move straight from the school-year program into summer programming - and we’re already looking ahead to all the possibilities this new space will bring.
Some future Spark programs will call the GreenState Millard Activity Center home, and we truly believe students are going to love it here.
There’s still a lot under construction… but the vision is already becoming real.
Stay tuned - and for now, here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how it all looked last week. ✨

A major win for Millard families and young athletes! 🏀🏐
OrthoNebraska and Millard Public Schools Foundation are partnering to bring youth sports performance programming to the future GreenState Millard Activity Center.
This new collaboration will provide families with greater access to:
✔️ Sports performance training
✔️ Injury prevention resources
✔️ Strength & agility coaching
✔️ Athlete development opportunities
The dedicated space inside the new activity center will help support athletes at every stage while making high-quality training more accessible for Millard families.
We can’t wait to see the impact this partnership will have on our community as we prepare for the facility’s opening in January 2027!

⚠️ We almost posted these photos too late… because if we waited until tomorrow, there would already be even more progress. 😅
But we had to share a quick look at the future GreenState Millard Activity Center today - and WOW.
Every time we walk through the building, it feels more real. The walls are going up, the spaces are taking shape, and the excitement keeps growing right along with it.
We’re incredibly grateful to our partners, contractors, and everyone helping bring this vision to life. Seeing how quickly this project is moving is both exciting and inspiring. 💚
And the best part? This is only the beginning. Soon, we’ll start sharing more behind-the-scenes updates about how we’re preparing for opening day, what’s coming inside the facility, and all the ways this space will serve our community for years to come.
It’s happening… and it’s happening fast. 🚧✨

From paper to reality - and it never stops being impressive. You look at the drawings… and see doors. Then you walk the site, and those same doors have a place, a scale, a future.
Huge thank you to the BCDM Architects, Lamp Rynearson, and Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture, who think through every detail - and to the construction team, Sampson Construction, who bring those ideas to life every single day.
And most importantly - thank you to our community! Your support, your belief, and your involvement are what make this project possible.
This is how something meaningful takes shape.
We’re also continuing to build strong partnerships around this project.
If you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to connect - please reach out to Ryan Patrick [email protected].

Introducing the Endeavor Challenge Course at the GreenState Millard Activity Center 💚
We’re excited to bring something truly unique to our community - the Endeavor Challenge Course, a dynamic, multi-level adventure experience designed to inspire movement, confidence, and growth.
Students will have the opportunity to climb, navigate, and challenge themselves in new ways - building teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence along the way. From first steps to final zip line moments, every part of the course is designed to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that go far beyond fun. Because growth doesn’t happen on the ground - it happens when students take that next step, a little higher.
And it’s not just for students. The Endeavor Challenge Course will also serve as a powerful space for adults - ideal for leadership retreats, team-building experiences, and professional development. It’s an opportunity to step outside the usual environment, strengthen collaboration, and grow in new ways together.
Stay tuned - this is just the beginning.

GreenState Millard Activity Center is taking shape - and it’s happening thanks to our incredible partners.
Together with Sampson Construction, we’re making steady progress every day.
More than two-thirds of the roof is now in place - a milestone that truly changes how the building feels.
Standing here, looking through fresh green leaves, it’s hard not to notice how quickly everything is moving - not just construction, but the season itself. Have you noticed how fast the trees came to life this year?
Spring is here. Summer is ahead.
And by late Fall, we open the doors.
No, it’s not launching Artemis II. But for our community, this center matters just as much.
Because this is where moments will happen.
Where connections will grow.
Where something bigger begins.
