Aksarben Curling Juniors

Our friends in KC are hosting a one-day friendly with Aksarben’s juniors in April! It’s a great way for kids to try curling on dedicated curling ice!

We are co-hosting a friendly JUNIORS bonspiel with Askarben curling club on April 20th. There will be two games and lunch for the low price of $10.

Aksarben Curling Juniors hit the road this past weekend to curl at the Heather Curling Club's Teen Spiel! We love seeing more of our youth getting to experience dedicated ice at neighboring clubs!

Our friends at The Kansas City Curling Club are hosting a two-game friendly for Aksarben and KC juniors in April. It’s a great opportunity for Aksarben youth to get to curl on dedicated ice! Individuals are welcome to register—no teams are needed in order to play.

We will be welcoming Olympic Gold Medalist Tyler George and competitive coach Dave Jensen, to Denver Curling for our Junior Camp June 28-30. Registration opens March 19 and is limited to 32 junior curlers. Registration will be at denvercurlingclub.com, under the "curling" tab.

What’s better than local kids getting to see a national curling tournament in their backyard? *Even more* kids getting to see it! Welcome Bloomer and College View Elementary Schools! Perhaps we have some future competitors in the house for the 2038 Olympic Trials!

As most have probably guessed, the Aksarben Curling Club has opted to suspend Juniors programming this winter due to ongoing concerns over the pandemic. Creating a fun, safe environment for youth curling is always the #1 goal and we would be unable to meet those standards in the world right now. We look forward to coming back strong next winter and can’t wait to once again see everyone on the ice. Thanks to all who have participated and volunteered in the past and who continue to support our mission going forward.
