CFA Hockey Performance

Hey Everyone -
Just reaching out on here. I have had a few Hockey Parents reach out to me about offering programming for their kids to be able to use at home, at the YMCA, or any other local gym. I decided to keep programming our Accelerated Athlete program so athletes have a structured program to follow to help with strength, speed, agility, etc. That program is $30/month - see the link below. If that is something you would want for your athlete let me know and I can get it set up. You would download the SugarWOD app on your phone and once activated your athele would be able to see the daily programming.

CFA Family,
Alex and I have made the emotional and incredibly hard decision to close CrossFit Acceleration and CFA Hockey Performance at the end of November. This has not been an easy decision by any means. CrossFit Acceleration has held our hearts and our souls for 10 years. It has brought a decade worth of friendships, laughs, hard work, literal blood, sweat, tears, and incredible memories. Our children are getting older, and the value of family dinners and being able to attend their future sporting events played a major role in this decision, along with inflation, rising operational costs, and an uncertain economic future. We are proud of owning and operating a business for 10 years. We are proud of what we have created and the friendships and memories that we will cherish forever.
November will be the last month all memberships will be charged. If you pre-paid for a year upfront, you will be reimbursed for the pro-rated amount. Any punch cards for CrossFit and CFA Hockey Performance will have until the end of November to be used up. Alex is still planning on offering SugarWOD and his programming for CrossFit & Meat Truck if there is enough interest. Pricing for that will be $30/mo or $50 for both. If you are still interested in that – please let Alex know ASAP.
For our hockey athletes and families, most of you know we have a close relationship with Five7 Hockey. Eriah Hayes is a very close friend and shares the same values and passion for hockey that we do. The skating treadmill will now be a part of Five7. Make sure to follow Five7 on Facebook and Instagram for updates on when the skating treadmill will be operational.
All of our equipment will go on sale December 1, 2023. Everything is up for sale and is first come first serve so if there is anything you want, just let us know to claim it. Cash or ACH will be accepted. If you want to pay via credit card, a 3% processing fee will be charged.
As this chapter in our lives closes, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for all of you who have supported us, worked out with us, and have been a part of this amazing community. We love you.

Speed, strength & skill are important in sports. You get better at two of those with a strength and conditioning program.

If you’re not going to try then don’t show up.

If you want to play hockey you need strong legs. This will help with that.

Doesn’t matter if you’re leaning out or bulking up; you need a starting point to reach your goal.
