Go out there, give it your best, and most importantly, represent yourselves and our school with great sportsmanship.

Win or lose, remember to high-five someone, encourage a teammate, meet a new friend, and tell your opponent “good job.” Celebrate their hard work just as much as your own.

Because the biggest wins aren’t always the ones on the scoreboard. The way you treat people, the friends you make, and the character you show. That’s how you really win.

After so many votes and requests, tonight is the night. Mr. H will be teaching classes with watermelons strapped on to celebrate our twin boys, who could make their arrival any day now! 💙💙

Before the fun begins, we also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible strength of mothers. Whether your journey to motherhood is through pregnancy, adoption, foster care, step-parenting, or simply loving and nurturing a child as your own—we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you. Thank you for the countless ways you show up with courage, patience, and love every single day.

Thank you for cheering us on through this special chapter. We love that our martial arts family gets to laugh, celebrate, and make memories right alongside us.

Happy National Ice Cream Day!

We weren't able to host our annual ice cream event this year, but that doesn't mean the fun has to melt away!

Take some time today to treat yourself (and your favorite people) to something sweet. Whether it's a classic cone, a loaded sundae, or your favorite frozen treat, today is the perfect excuse to indulge!

July 11- Testing Day!
We will only be open for live rolling from 7 am - 8am

🖤 Black Belt Testing at 10:30 am

The calm before the storm. Soon, some of our students will take the floor and go through their most difficult test thus far on their martial arts journey. Soon, we believe that these H&H students will earn their first degree black belts, but that is up to them.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Black Belt Testing days are oh so bittersweet to us. They are filled with so many emotions. We love watching the excitement of earning a new belt. These days can also be so hard as for some, this is the end of their martial arts journey. When really, this is only the beginning!!

🖤🤎 Testers, be sure that you have your uniform, belt, and sparring gear. We recommend bringing a beverage and being at the studio by or around 10 am. This can help calm some of the nerves.

Come help us cheer on the testers. It will begin at 10:30 am. We will have Zoom up and going (enter with our normal class code).

Take a deep breath and know that we believe in you. You can do this.

🖤🖤 Black Belts- You are also welcome to come and sit on the black belt board. We ask that you arrive before 10:15 am. Come ready to motivate and cheer them on!

June 27- Black Belt Star/Advanced Testing

➡️ REMINDER:
We will only be open for our Jiu-Jitsu (adult & youth) classes this morning. No regular classes after 9:45 am.

Black Belt Star Testing - 10 am.

Advanced Testing - 12:15 pm.

Remember that there is never any pressure to test.

You are always welcome to invite friends and family to watch via Zoom.

If you plan to test, be sure that you turned in your testing notice with payment by 6/26 to avoid a late fee. Also, make sure you are caught up on tuition payments and that you know the material and feel ready!

Make sure you have your full uniform and belt and anything else you will need for testing. Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before your time.

We know you all can do it! Let's earn those new stars/belts! Good Skill!

Black Belts - You are welcome to help with the advanced testing. We would greatly appreciate it! Come ready to motivate and cheer them on!
