TC

2022 AQHA Gelding standing a stout 14.1 hands. TC is a nice aged gelding with a quiet disposition, athletic ability and experience outside the arena.

He has been ridden on mountain trails, through creeks, and in the ocean on the West Coast, taking the waves and water in stride. At home, he’s had a rope swung off him quite a bit and has tracked steers and a donkey. He’s also comfortable with the tarp and ball. TC has an easy going walk, trot, lope in the arena, he is more woah than go. Yet, has no problem moving out when asked.

TC is ready for someone to pick a career path for him and finish him that way. With his great brain, athleticism and good looks, he has the potential to be a breakaway, heel horse, ranch rider, versatility all while continuing to enjoy him out on the trails.

He ties well and is good to saddle, bridle, bathe and haul. A handy sized gelding with a good mind and plenty of possibilities for someone willing to put the time into him.

📍 From Coast to Coast — and a whole lot of miles in between.

It’s pretty incredible to step back and look at this map and see just how far some of our horses have gone. Every pin represents a horse we’ve had the opportunity to place and a new home somewhere across the country. 🤎

Whether you’re right here in the Midwest or thousands of miles away or in Wisconsin, we do our best to make the buying process straightforward, honest and comfortable — even when you can’t be here in person.

We’re pretty proud of where these horses have gone. We can’t wait to see where the next pin lands!

What state should we add next?

See new faces here before you see them anywhere else👀🐴

We're changing things up a little!

Going forward, new horses will be posted right here on the EG Equine page FIRST — before they're shared to outside groups, websites, etc.

That means our followers will get the first look and first opportunity to inquire before we start advertising them elsewhere.

If you're looking for your next horse, thinking about one in the future, or just like following along with what comes through our barn, make sure you're following EG Equine so you don't miss the next one.

Some horses don't stick around long — and now, our followers will see them first🤎

Java

2015 AQHA Dun Mare standing a very stout 14.3/15 hands. This gorgeous mare has so much to offer someone. She has seen many miles of trails, being hauled on overnight camping trips to the mountains all the way to the beach. Java has been with the same family since she was two years old. You can ride her in the arena also- she is well broke, not a deadhead. Java picks up both leads, trots nicely, stops, and backs well. Not for a total beginner, if you can sit up there and ride you will get along with her. Java has been used for some beginner lessons in the past, supervised they got along well. She is ready to find her new trail partner who wants to go on miles and miles of trails!

She loves crossing creeks and playing in the water. Traffic doesn’t seem to bother her. Java will lead or follow, she enjoys leading. She hauls great and is good for the vet and farrier. She has nice legs and good feet. Later on Java would throw some beautiful babies, her dun factor is so strong from the stripes on her legs to her dorsal stripe.

Flamin Hot Chico

2023 AQHA Red Roan Gelding standing a shapey 14.1 hands. Chico is a kind, easy going gelding with the mind and foundation that make him enjoyable every day. He is a grandson of Sannman on the top side of his pedigree and goes back to Grays Starlight on the bottom side. Chico is built well and rides nicely both in and out of the arena.

As far as young geldings go, Chico is the definition of Quiet & Gentle. He rides quietly at the walk, trot, and lope, has a nice stop, backs softly, side passes, counter arcs, and has been started on turnarounds. Chico is uncomplicated and honest, making him a fun prospect to continue in any direction.

Outside the arena, Chico has seen plenty of miles. He’s been trail ridden extensively, ridden down busy roads, and even spent several days on an overnight camping trip that included loading onto a ferry to an island, taking every new experience in stride. He has pushed cattle, been introduced to tracking and roping the dummy, crosses water and bridges confidently, and is traffic safe.

Whether you’re looking for a ranch riding prospect, breakaway prospect, ranch horse, trail partner, or simply a dependable young gelding to finish your way. Chico has the mind, disposition, and versatility to get you there. He loads, hauls, ties, bathes, clips, stands for the vet, saddles, and bridles with ease.
