🔥 TN Fury Platinum-Phillips 9U – Tournament Recap 🔥
Gold bracket runner up ❤️
Game 1:
Fury opened the day with a thrilling 4-3 comeback win over Lady Savages 10U. Savannah drove in the go-ahead runs on a clutch groundout, while Tess commanded the circle with 6 strikeouts and allowed only one earned run. Patience at the plate played a big role — the girls drew five walks, setting up key scoring opportunities and showing great discipline early.
Game 2:
In a true test of resilience, Fury rallied from behind to edge Pristine 10U, 6-5. A five-run third inning turned the game around, powered by aggressive base running and timely contact. Ellie took control in the circle, throwing three hitless innings with three strikeouts to earn the win. Charley’s speed and awareness on the bases sparked the offense, while the team’s defense remained sharp — not a single error committed.
Game 3:
Even in defeat, Fury’s determination stood out in their 9-5 loss to TN Queens 10U. The girls outhit their opponent and drew eight walks, showing patience and a never-give-up attitude. Presley and Savannah each recorded hits, and Charley led the way with multiple stolen bases. The team learned valuable lessons that fueled their bounce back later in the day.
Game 4:
Fury came right back with another 6-5 win over Pristine 10U, showcasing teamwork and grit. Timely hitting, smart base running, and strong defensive plays kept the game tight. Ellie delivered again in the circle, striking out three and holding down the lead, while the bats came alive behind her support.
Game 5:
In their final matchup against TN Queens 10U, Fury kept the energy high and continued to compete with heart. Presley and Savannah led the way with hits, and the girls stayed patient at the plate with six walks. Despite the loss, their effort and attitude never wavered — every inning showed growth, fight, and determination.
👏 A huge thank you to our coaching staff for their guidance, leadership, and commitment to helping these girls develop not just as players but as teammates. Their encouragement and belief drive the confidence and discipline we see on the field every game.
This team continues to grow, believe, and fight for every inning. The future is bright — and this is just the beginning. 💜🥎
