It’s been a couple of years but we headed to Farmer City last night!

Struggled with carb issues in qualifying, qualified 10th out of 17.

Started 5th in the heat, finished 3rd.

Got to see a lot of fans during the drivers meet & greet! Was so great to see so many people at the track last night! Then Farmer put on a GREAT firework show!

Our Feature was pretty … crazy.
Started 6th in the feature. After multiple cautions and a start that took out half of the field Lucas finished 2nd. Way to never give up bud!

We’re heading back to Fairbury tomorrow! 🏁 We’ll be set up in the stands selling Merch. Stop by and see us! 😊

𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 & 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 tomorrow at Fairbury Speedway!!

The events begin from 1:00–2:30 PM with a car parade and driver meet-n-greet at Dave's Supermarket in Fairbury, IL.
⁣
Then head to the track from 4:00–7:00 PM for Family Fun Night, featuring bounce houses, Zoo Lady face painting, Rhoads Racing Promotions simulator, free hot dogs for kids, and plenty of other activities for the whole family to enjoy. ⁣

Cap off the evening with an exciting 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 display! ⁣

On the track, the action will be just as big. Presented by Gordon Electric Supply, the FALS Cup Late Models will race for $2,500 to win, the FALS Cup Modifieds will battle for $1,500 to win, the FALS Cup Stock Cars will compete for $750 to win, and the ProMods will round out a thrilling night of racing. Don’t miss one of the biggest family events of the summer at Fairbury Speedway!

First night out of the season for the 3-link we took her to Fairbury.
Car was not that great coming out for qualifying. Qualified 8th out of 16.
Started 4th in the heat, finished 3rd. Started 6th in the feature, got up to 4th and then spun in 1&2 , come to find out something was wrong with the left rear shock. Came from the rear and made it up to 7th.
Dad busted his tail all night tweaking on the car and definitely was better than what we started with! All & all was a decent first night out with this car for the season. Just gotta work out some of the bugs.
