I really enjoyed teaching the Intro to Pickleball Clinic this morning at the Recreation Center! Today’s lively group was participating in our OB Parks and Recreation Fall Fitness Bingo Challenge running throughout the month of September. This group got after it and asked so many good questions! I will see you all on the courts!

The OB Tennis Center will be closed to recreational play from Friday, September 11, through Sunday, September 13. We are a host site for the USTA Tri-level Alabama State Championships. Spectators are welcome! Come out and watch some great tennis!

📣🎾 The Orange Beach Tennis Center has released our Fall / Winter clinic schedule!! 💥 For Fall, we are offering 5 week clinics for High School Tennis players and hopefuls, Red, Orange and Green clinics too 🔴🟠🟢 Fall clinics begin On September 28. Registration on CourtReserve opens September 1 for Fall clinics.

We are offering the same clinics this Winter starting November 9. Winter clinics will run for 4 weeks. Registration on CourtReserve opens October 1 for Winter clinics.

On select Saturday mornings starting August 29, and running through December 12, we are offering drop-in classes for our Adult Mixed Drop in Drill (3.0+), Red, Orange/Green Ball and Youth Tennis.

The OB Tennis Center had a great time tonight hosting a fun Round-Robin social for our OBLTL players. The weather held off just long enough to get our tourney in! We shared plenty of good food and laughs. Congrats to our winners! Good luck this season to our OBLTL teams!

The OB Tennis Center will be hosting a free fun social / round robin tournament on Wednesday, August 19, at 5pm, to celebrate the beginning of another season of league play. Light refreshments will be provided and participants are encouraged to bring small food items. You need to be a current member of an OBLTL team and have a CourtReserve account to register for the round robin. Contact Coach Natalie or Tennis Manager Kevin LaPointe with any questions.

Tennis Center gets some love: The Orange Beach Tennis Center is a little brighter now thanks to a resurfacing project that included new paint and striping for the eight courts. Four new on-court cabanas were installed as well. Paired with the Pickleball Complex, there is no excuse not to get out and play at the Orange Beach Recreation Campus.

The Orange Beach Tennis Center's eight lighted hard courts are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. - seven days a week. The lights automatically turn off at 10 p.m. Courts 1 and 8 are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to two-hour sessions. If others are waiting, please limit your session to 30 minutes. Courts 2 through 7 may be reserved exclusively by City of Orange Beach residents. Reservations can be made online at CourtReserve website at https://app.courtreserve.com/Online/Portal/Index/6722.

🥒 We just wrapped another beginner pickleball clinic at the OB Rec Center 💥
This group came ready to volley, dink and slam! They asked great questions and showed great improvement by the end of the clinic. This past Saturday morning, coach Natalie hosted our free Family Tennis Clinic to celebrate Parks and Rec month.

We currently offer indoor pickleball on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Rec Center from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. Indoor pickleball is free for all current Adult Fitness Center Rec members! Outdoor pickleball play at the new Pickleball Complex is free for everyone and is open 7 days a week from 7am until 10pm.
