Jaden Scales has been selected as the Texas High School Coaches Association 3A MVP. This is an extremely prestigious award. Only 8 players from around the state are selected for this team and Jaden was selected as the MVP! Well deserved for an outstanding season and career.

What a season it has been for the Orangefield Bobcats.

From the first practice of the year to the final moments of the state championship run, this team captured the heart of the Orangefield community. This team had a trust and belief in each other that carried them further than any Orangefield team has been before.

This season wasn’t just about wins and losses. It was about a group of young men representing their school, their families, and their community with pride. They battled through a long season, overcame adversity, and showed what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

The journey to the State Championship game at the Alamodome will forever be remembered in Orangefield history. The packed gyms, the road trips, and the overwhelming support from the community created moments that our players and fans will be able to talk about for decades.

Great teams leave a legacy, not just in banners or trophies, but in the example they set. This Orangefield team did exactly that. They showed the next generation of Bobcats what is possible with hard work, unity, and belief.

Thank you to this special group of seniors that left it all on the court. A historic season could not be made without the dedication and commitment that these boys demonstrated.

Another record was broken on a record breaking night! In the Bobcats State Semifinal win over Corpus Christi London, Jaden Scales became the all-time leading scorer in Orangefield High School history! Congratulations, Jaden!
